Why Ohio Fusion? “I grew up playing for Bellbrook FC and after moving back from Cincinnati had a strong interest in returning to coach here. I love the development philosophy we have established at the club and having the chance to work in my hometown."
What you love about being a coach? "Being involved in the game as a coach gives me the opportunity to teach the next generation of players grow their love of the game. Seeing players develop new skills and gain confidence in their ability is an incredibly rewarding experience."

Brent Palmer

Coaching Experience - Coach Palmer has coached in many different levels of Soccer in the Dayton Area. His experience includes camps, club/select soccer and Boys High School Soccer at Brookville High School & Bellbrook High School, Girls High School Head Coach at Tippecanoe.
Coaching Education – Coach Palmer has the US Soccer National “F” Coaching license.
Playing or Other Experience A graduate and member of the Ohio Christian University Men's Soccer team, Coach Palmer was recognized as a 1st Team All River States Conference player all four years along as well as being named a NAIA All-American his senior year. Coach Palmer he has been recognized as the Miami Valley Youth Soccer Association Assistant Coach of the Year in 2017 and 2018.
Why Ohio Fusion? “I believe in this club and their passion and dedication to making Ohio Fusion a top club in the Dayton area. They have shown a vested interest in developing high level players and high level coaches, with a strong sense of community in the Bellbrook area. It’s a club that I think I can not only help, but will be able to grow and learn from as a coach. It’s exciting to partner with a club that is making many positive and fundamental changes to move in the right direction, and I’m excited to be a part of that in as many ways as I can.”
What you love about being a coach? “There are many aspects of coaching that I enjoy but if I had to narrow it down to a single thing it would simply being able to give me a platform and opportunity to stay involved with the game of soccer. When you are able to share those platforms and opportunities with people invested in a common goal, it makes it incredibly rewarding.”

Alexander Amankwaah

Playing or Other Experience Coach Alex spent the 2017 season playing professionally for the Dayton Dutch Lions. A graduate and member of University of Dayton men’s soccer that won the Atlantic 10 conferences and advanced to the 2nd round of the NCAA Tournament Coach Alex scored 5 goals and 10 assists in that 2015 season. Prior to UD Coach Alex was at the University of Ghana where he was voted Best Player 2013/2014, Most Dedicated Sportsman of the Year 2013/2014, Mensah Sarbah (University of Ghana) and won a Gold medal with University of Ghana team 2013/2014.
Why Ohio Fusion? "Ohio Fusion because I heard a lot of good things, especially how nice the people in the community are and the great soccer organization they have. Also I like the clubs philosophy and identity of developing players."
What you love about being a coach? "I just love the game of soccer and I want to impact or teach younger ones my experience both on and off the field. I will also like to develop talent and motivate people to realize their dreams."
